Simon Keens is presented with 'Student
Journalist of the Year 2007/08' and 'Recreation Division Personality of
the Year' awards at Salford Students' Union's annual Colours Ball
Ceremony. Simon adds this to his Student Journalist of the Year award
2005/06.
Simon recently became employed by the University of Salford as a Physics Research Assistant, but hopes to return to write occasionally for Student Direct next year.

This is my Student Direct page with
all the articles I've written since 2004.
I have had the honour to write for four different editors, Matt Haley,
Caz Eccles, Alex Trembath and Steph Aguirre. My thanks go to all of them
