30/04/2008 - STOP PRESS!
Simon Keens is presented with 'Student Journalist of the Year 2007/08' and 'Recreation Division Personality of the Year' awards at Salford Students' Union's annual Colours Ball Ceremony. Simon adds this to his Student Journalist of the Year award 2005/06.

Simon recently became employed by the University of Salford as a Physics Research Assistant, but hopes to return to write occasionally for Student Direct next year.
